Have you wondered... "WHAT'S WITH THE DOLLAR BILLS?"

The history of this custom, as best we understand it, goes like this:

In the 'old days,' prospectors and ranchers would stop by the saloon and post a dollar on the wall.

They did this because of how dangerous their work was. If they survived the mines or the open range, they could return to the saloon alive. They would then grab their buck (or however much they stuck to the wall) and have a cold drink.

At some point in our past, this began to happen in our restaurant. We don't know how far back, but we think it was the 40s or 50s. It has been a tradition ever since.

We believe there is over a half a million on our walls by now. They go four - five bucks deep in some spots. When you visit, make sure to give your server a buck with your name on it!

Forget Mossy Oak—this is Superstition Saloon style.
